This is an amazing piece, I like the mystical darkness of the whole area. Did you use a filter to give it a real painted/fiery look of the light? Even though the ring does look a little 'flat' and 2d it is still a very beautiful sight. I especially like the light rays from the right of the picture, but I don't think light rays are able to be seen in space because of the lack of particles [If this is for a realism purpose], but nice work anyways. It is amazing and I wish I could do stuff like this.

Oh, My, Goodness. That's all I can say about this epic piece. I love the color, the texture, and the visual serenity. I'm sure that you used CS6 to do it. Also, the light rays really complete the scene. If only I could do this with my Photoshop Elements. I can't stress enough how wonderfully executed this composite is. I simply can't. I think I can bet you money that when we truly master space travel, we'll be seeing sights such as this. I just love everything about this composite, the realism, the visual serenity, and just the pure unbridled originality. I simply love it.

Do you make the rings yourself, or do you take the rings from Saturn and adjust the opacity and play with blending modes? Because I know how to do that method. I don't know how you would get such perfect rings using the tools you have in photoshop. You can get similar results, but not as uniform and solid as rings like yours.

all my rings are custom made for each space scape i make. none are simple reworkings of saturn's rings.

Wow, that's cool. All I can say right now is, it must take you ages to get those right.
