hi guys. this is just a revamped version of my pevious green envy work -----><-----. as you can see, its definetly an improved version and far more interesting to look at!

i really tried with this one and its definetly what i wanted it to look like.

this is probably by far my most sci-fi work yet and maybe even my best!
so please enjoy the image!

statistics

time: 10 hours of actual work.
programs: photoshop cs5, cosmic pack 3 actions

new techniques/ methods used:

- reduced saturation and brightness of foreground planets.
- reduced opacity, saturation and brightness on the atmosphere of foreground planets.
- reduced opacity of clouds and their shadows on foreground planets.
- reduced saturation, brightness and opacity of the atmosphere on moons.
- view of the polar region for gas giants. (adds a more realistic and interesting view to the planet).
- reduced atmosphere on gas giants.
- more accurate represntation of rings.
- smoother rings.
- new starfield backgrounds.
- nebula composed of more than one fractal image. lots of adjustment layers added as well!
- smaller stars are placed more accurately around the nebula to add a more realistic effect.
- moons have a more 'sci-fi' feel to them due to their placements.
- main stars now actually have colour!
- image has more depth and a more 'sci-fi' feel.
- image has far more layers and adjustment layers. lost count at around 30 or 40! X(
- huge image resolution, 10,000px X 4,000px! one of my biggest images ever!

the image has a huge file size. this may drive you away from downloading it, especially those with slower systems and connections. but it is highly recommended that you download it to see all of its detail. you don't need to if you don't want to! again, it is only recommended!
