:D!!!!!ALSO IF YOU'D LIKE, YOU CAN LISTEN TO THIS WONDERFUL SONG FROM YOUTUBE! [link] . IT REALLY GIVES THE SCENE A GREAT MOOD AND ATMOSPHERE! AND KUDOS TO THE CREATOR!!!!!:D

heres Drenched:

The Ascaena System, is one drenched in water, and any fish's paradise!:)
A ringed planet twice the size of earth orbited by 3 moons, each slightly larger than the other, and the smallest being nearly 2 times the size of our moon!:omfg:

These water worlds are some of the most bio-diverse worlds in the galaxy and will remain so for no civilization is allowed to interfere with them!

:bulletblue: The beautiful and calm world, Boralis with its delicate yet magnificant rings, takes center stage in this scene!:D Its waters perfect for life and its crisp, clean atmosphere not too still nor turbulent, but just right to provide a gentle breeze!:) Its oceans, crystal clear and its currents constantly keep the nutrients and oxygen flowing anywhere on the planet!:) this makes the planet the crowning jewel of this solar system and one of the most habitable places in the galaxy!:D

:bulletblue: The first and largest moon, Nostraeda is seen here to the bottom right and far front of the image.:) And just from its atmosphere, you can see that it is a dynamic world!:D Its oceans are rough and skies turbulent as its internal heat and short day, sturs its atmosphere and whips up violent storms!:o Life still continues here, despite these conditions, but mainly at the bottom of its ocean where the sea is calm and currents gentle.:)

:bulletblue: The second moon Satiel is seen as the moon to the center left and front of the planet.:) Despite its atmosphere, thick with clouds, ... the moon is actually very calm!:o its waters ever so still and winds so gentle, ... its oceans teem with life!:) And all of this is due to the moon rotating slowely, producing very little wind to drive its atmosphere and stur it into a raging storm like its close neighbour, Nostraeda!:D

:bulletblue: The third and smallest moon, Cratara, is the small moon to the upper right, behind the planet and is an icy body captured by the planet from its orbit around their star. Its atmosphere, too thin to hold a blanket of warm air and its interior, too cold to melt the ice and let the waters of life flow across its surface.:( It is capable of sustaining life, but not under its current condition.:(

:bulletblue: And finally, the Pentera Nebula gentally illuminates the system from behind with a soft glow and lights its night skies!:)

i really enjoyed making this scene and i also enjoyed making the description/ poem as well!:D

hope you guys like the scene and the description!:D comment on it if you can and tell me what you think about it!;)

The description as well as the picture captivates the imagination. I am of the opinion that there are millions of beautiful planets out there, inhabited by beings with high (or medium!) IQ, and uninhabited.

Beautiful image. Are the moons and planet rendered in 3d or are they photoshoped? Either way great work.

Can I be your padawan? My master. Seriously, if you you have a tutorial, I'd like to download it. I know my way around Photoshop, but I can't do anything even close to your work. Simply amazing! You should be published!

actually, i use a program with actions in photoshop that helps me create my scenes. its cosmic pack 2 deluxe edition. also, stuff like shadows, clouds and nebulae are images that i got with and go specifically with the program. i also use it to make planet rings. all i do is edit them to make them look how i want them to look. besides, i'm a rooky with photoshop and am only now starting to learn my way around it.

if its any one you want to learn from, its the other great space artists on da who actually use photoshop by itself to make their space scapes.

maybe in the future, i'll make a few tutorials, but right now, theres not much i can do.

thanks for asking though!:)

Really nice planet textures you have here. Well done! Maybe you could enhance the scene with some ambient light and reduce the contrast of the distant planet, but thats just my taste ;)
Good job anyway!

Use gradients or simple colors (lighter ones) and lower their opacity and play with the blend modes (mostly lighteen works well). Put this layer above distant objects so the distant objects looses some contrast and this makes them more "natural". Hope that helps a bit.

ok thanks!:)
umm, not to be a bother or anything, but do you also know how to add side light rays to a scene, like the ones in silent giant, they would really help with my art! please if you can!:)

yep! Its simple too. Pick the gradient tool and set it to noise (something like this: [link]) and on a new layer draw a simple gradient. you should have noting but noisy lines. Destaturate it and set the blend mode to soft light. Thats it...you can use blur filters to enhance the effect or use multiple gradient layers. Play with it.

Cheers ;)
